Construction Update!🚧 Our Hillier House project is nearly enclosed! This T-shaped residence is sited on an expansive rural property that affords sweeping views of the agrarian landscape. Consisting of three low-slung gabled volumes, each wing serves a distinct purpose for its residents — one wing is intended for rest, another for indoor / outdoor living, and a third for exercise and study. A first look inside @municipal_grand, AAmp’s design for a new 44-room boutique hotel in Savannah, Georgia. The project is currently under construction and slated for an early 2025 opening. The design of the hotel seeks to both celebrate and offset the building’s strong form by introducing softened elements, such as curved walls and arched openings, that invite the public and guests to discover a series of warm and lush spaces within. The design of the public amenity and private guest spaces of the hotel takes inspiration from the existing terrazzo patterned floors, vibrant blue mosaic tile clad columns, and mid-century wood paneling and metal accents throughout, all of which are preserved throughout. Extremely excited to share a first glimpse of our design for @municipal_grand, a new 44-room boutique hotel in Savannah, Georgia! The project is currently under construction and slated for an early 2025 opening. The existing mid-century building — originally a bank headquarters — is being carefully preserved and restored to accommodate its historic status, while new elements are thoughtfully integrated to meet the needs of the hotel. It will feature a large double-height lobby bar and restaurant, rooftop pool and subterranean bar. Excited to show you more soon!
