Maine Home & Design Beacon Residence Feature
We’re thrilled to share that AAmp’s Beacon Residence is featured in the July issue of Maine Home+Design! The project transforms an 1890s Victorian Portland home into a lush, plant-filled urban retreat that reflects the creative lives of its owners. With a light-touch approach, the renovation preserved the home’s character while introducing key updates—a dark exterior, a garden patio in place of a driveway, and a new open kitchen with warm millwork and marble. A once-neglected third floor became a bright flexible office and guest suite, while a neutral palette, vintage furnishings, and layered personal objects create a comfortable, lived-in atmosphere rooted in creativity and connection throughout.
