Located on a pastoral property with rolling hills and views of surrounding trees and protected wetlands, this home for a young family is composed of three staggered wings that offer points of connection to adjacent outdoor living areas and a swimming pool. Each gabled wing is oriented carefully to track the movement of the sun, such that morning and afternoon light filter into different spaces of the home as the family gathers over the course of the day … #happyholidays #chaseresidence #aampstudio

We hope that you can join AAmp’s Anne-Marie Armstrong at @adfilmfest tonight, where she’ll join a panel to discuss 'Schindler Space Architect': “This documentary explores [Schindler’s] richly complex work, with its influences from the turn of the 20th century Vienna, the early work of Frank Lloyd Wright, the pueblos of Taos. It is an investigation into Schindler’s philosophy of Space Architecture as contrasted with the International Style that ruled modern architecture during most of the architect’s life."

Cat’s out of the bag! AAmp is excited to announce that we’re providing the architecture and design for a new 90+ room boutique hotel in downtown Portland, ME. Carefully restoring and repurposing Maine’s first high-rise – known as the Fidelity Trust Building built in 1910 – the former bank will be home to a hotel with a large double-height lobby restaurant and bar, lower level bar, fitness facility and other amenities.
