We’re excited to share that Municipal Grand is officially open! Housed in a restored 1961 midcentury bank, the hotel has been completely reimagined as a 44-room boutique retreat in the heart of Savannah. AAmp’s design celebrates the building’s original materials — terrazzo floors, blue mosaic tile, and wood paneling — while introducing softened forms, arched openings, and lush textures that invite guests into a warm, layered experience. From the vibrant public spaces to the richly detailed guest rooms, every element was crafted to balance boldness with comfort, and history with hospitality. The new rooftop pool is now open to guests, with a subterranean cocktail bar set to open soon.
