OAA Conference Anne-Marie Armstrong’s presentation at the annual OAA conference in Niagara Falls

AAmp principal Anne-Marie Armstrong recently presented at the 2024 Ontario Association of Architects Conference where the theme was ‘Housing Pushing the Envelope”. The lecture, titled ‘Community Memory Meets Modern Intervention” described the approach to design, planning and construction process of the Jones Multi-Unit project. The audience gained insight into how the project addresses the challenges of achieving gentle density while respecting community memory and neighbourhood fabric, in an effort to foster a conversation around architectural interventions that have the potential to contribute positively to community character.
